ferry folk, part 1
Ever since I started taking the ferry to Block Island, I was interested in the passengers on board - a diverse collection of characters, and in many instances I’d imagine what their stories might be. In early 2009 I brought along a digital camera and sketchbook to document what I saw. Over time, those photos, sketches and imagined stories become a series of paintings.
